Specialist Periodontist, Harpenden, Hertfordshire

We have an opportunity for a part time Specialist Periodontist to work alongside our six Dentists and five Hygienists.

We are a fully private, independently owned, 7 surgery dental practice based in Harpenden, Hertfordshire. We have a wonderful, friendly, happy and hard-working team, most of whom have been with us for a long time.

All our clinicians are trained to use dental lasers. We have four Waterlase lasers, which are, when appropriate, used in place of a scalpel and drill. We have five diode lasers which are used for cutting, healing and by our hygienists for periodontal treatment (among other things!). Our nurses are all formally trained in laser safety.

We are fully digital with intra-oral 3 shape scanners, X-Guide 3D Navigation and Photogrammetry for implants, DTX and 3 Shape Design Studio, a Roland DG Shape Mill and a Sprint Ray 3D Printer.

The ideal candidate will either have experience of dental lasers or be prepared to learn how to use these fantastic tools which are particularly helpful in periodontal treatments. You will work alongside our Dentists and Hygienists and with Robin Horton in his implant treatments with grafting and sinus lifts.
