Dr Styliani Kourkouta awarded George Cross Fellowship Award

Dr Styliani Kourkouta, a Specialist Registrar in Restorative Dentistry at the Eastman Dental Hospital London, has been awarded the 2006 George Cross Fellowship Award to help support her elective study in the USA looking at Implant Therapy in Compromised Sites. She will be invited to receive her award at a future Society meeting. The Cross Fellowship exists in order to further the education and career development of members of the BSP. The primary purpose is to enable the winner(s) to travel to "centres of excellence" recognised by the Council of the Society. This award is indicative of the Society's aim to promote periodontology within the UK and to support the career development of younger members of the Society.
