BDA elections 2024

Please find below a letter from BDA Chief Executive, Martin Woodrow, regarding the BDA Elections 2024:

BDA elections 2024

The British Dental Association’s elections are now underway, with nominations for positions on our Board, committees and country councils open.

After a general election in which the state of dentistry was a top issue, there has never been a more important time for dentists to step up and make sure that the changes that we all know are needed finally happen. The BDA will play a leading role in shaping that new future for dentistry and we want you to be a part of it.

As a member-led organisation, we are directed by our members. And now it is your opportunity to be a member leader; to shape your Association the way you want, and in doing so, shape your profession and working life the way you want it to be.
I would like to encourage your members to consider putting themselves forwards. We welcome nominations from all dentists, and particularly those from backgrounds that have been traditionally under-represented, like women and ethnic minority dentists.
Nominations will close on 28 October. To nominate yourself, please click the link below.

You can find out more about the roles, processes and the bodies themselves in the BDA’s election hub: https://www.bda.org/elections/

Together, we define the future of dentistry.

Yours sincerely

Martin Woodrow
Chief Executive
