Abstract

Treatment of severely compromised teeth with periodontal regeneration represent a formidable clinical challenge. Development of novel surgical techniques and biomaterials have significantly changed the prognosis of single and multi-rooted teeth with severe loss of periodontal support. The adoption of advanced concepts of minimally invasive surgery represents a significant step toward a friendly, simplified and highly predictable application of regenerative surgery. During this seminar Dr Cortellini will discuss the key elements for clinical success, including patient preparation and control of local factors and will disclose indications, treatment strategies and surgical techniques to properly apply minimally invasive surgery to the treatment of intrabony defects.

Outcomes

In this webinar you will learn:

  1. The principles of the “biologically driven minimally invasive regeneration”

  2. How to prepare patient and site before regenerative surgery

  3. How to design a “papilla preservation minimally invasive flap”

  4. How to select the regenerative materials

  5. The suturing principles to obtain stable primary closure
