Only the first 500 participants to log in on the evening will be able to participate in the live event.
However, booked participants will be able to view the webinar after the event on the BSP website. You will be notified when the recorded presentation is available for viewing.
1.5 hours CPD is offered to all delegates who have booked and viewed the webinar. Bookings must have been made through the BSP website, non-members will need their booking reference number to obtain CPD. Evaluation form and CPD certificates will be available after the event on the website.
To provide understanding of the S3 practice guidelines on the treatment options for severe periodontitis, focusing on full arch rehabilitation for patients with multiple tooth loss.
Consider the clinical presentation of severe periodontitis leading to multiple tooth loss.
Consider the immediate management of multiple tooth loss because of severe periodontitis.
Consider the S3 guidelines for full arch rehabilitation techniques where there is severe periodontitis and multiple missing teeth.
By the end of this lecture, participants will be able to:
Identify patients with multiple tooth loss related to severe periodontitis;
Develop immediate and longer-term management strategies in cases of severe periodontitis with multiple tooth loss;
Discuss the influence of the S3 guidelines on planning of patients with severe periodontitis with multiple tooth loss.

Giles McCracken is Professor of Restorative Dentistry at the School of Dental Sciences, Faculty of Medical Sciences at Newcastle University. He initially worked in Hospital and General Dental Services before moving into a substantive academic career. He is the Director of Postgraduate Taught Clinical Programmes and the Degree Programme Director of the MClinDent in Prosthodontics, and an Honorary Consultant in Restorative Dentistry at the Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
